The websites i will use are the ones made by governments because that way i am sure that the source is reliable and that the information is accurate. Nowadays many websites are edited by everyone and therefor the information isn't always relevant to my topic. Google advanced search helps you eliminate all those websites by refining your search into results of websites only by governments. Also because of the very high number of websites available not all of them are reviewed by professionals that make sure the information is correct and reliable. Therefor using an encyclopedia or a book would make my information a lot more sure to be correct. So i will be sure to visit the library to do some research about my topic. The CIA factbook is a great website that has lots of information and is reviewed by the CIA meaning that it is a reliable source. I will be sure not to use information with no authour listed because we cannot know if the author is reliable or not.

fearless

Dear family,

This is september 19th 1917, my head is spinning, my bones are burning and my heart is sinking, Yes i am proud to be fighting for America, and at the end of everyday i feel like i am a hero and that I have done something for my country. However as much as i would like to say that I am strong and that I am ok with this, I can't. It is hard to be living a life where you could receive a grenade to your head any minute and a life where you could be having breakfast with someone and then 20 minutes later find him lying dead and being stomped on. All you hear all day are the sounds of exploding bombs and suffering men. I miss the love, peace and tranquility I had with you guys. I am glad I had time to write you this letter since I barely have time for myself. It's a very tough life, when you know that there is absolutely no place were you are safe. It's not life back home were, when everything feels wrong and everywhere feels dangerous, there still is that place you call home were it is always safe. There isn't really a place i call home here, well maybe the trenches but those are dangerous as well, we receive artilleries all the time and more and more men are starting to suffer from shellshocked making the number of men fighting a lot less. The food we get is pretty sufficient and everyday there are less people there to eat. I am really scared that one day i will be that missing person around the table. I try not to think about it and everytime i start losing hope and fading into depression I think of you guys, the only people i feel safe with. My family is the only thing that keeps me fighting that allows me to wake up every morning and be fearless, so thank you. Thank you because YOU are helping america as well, you and all the other families are what keep us soldiers away from depression and suicide. YOU are the reason we are fearless

Typical teenager problem

1. A very common problem experienced by teenagers is stress. Due to all the homework, tests pressure in class, most

students' healths are affected because of all the stress and pressure endured. This leads to students having no life apart from

work because of all the work that is given. Teenagers need to spend time with their friends and experience new things and

participate in different activities. However most of them cannot do this because of the overload of work and stress.



2. A solution proposed is that the student puts all the effort into his work and spends the 4 years of high school working as

much as possible to get into a good university and at the end it will all be worth it. Some parents think this is a good idea

because high school is all about getting great grades to be able to get into good universities and succeed in life and that by

working and preparing for tests and concentrating in class you will suceed in life.



3. I do not think this is a good solution because if all students do is work then stress will overcome them and this puts their

health in danger and may lead to more serious concequences. Stress can be very dangerous sometimes and may also lead to

depression or giving up. Having too much work and no teenager life may lead to a teenager being fed up with school and give

it up completly.



4. A solution that seems logical would be to balance work and activities and prepare a plan that will organize your work and

leave time to whatever interests you. This can help a student be more comfortable in their work and not stressed about

everything.

Progressive thinker?

After a discussion with my parents, I found out that a progressive thinker is someone that thinks ahead and thinks beyond than what people ussualyy think. A progressive thinker is w-one that is not afraid of reaching higher expectations to arive to a higher point of thinking. A progressive thinker never gives up because they know that the solution is always there somewhere and we will not find it by giving up.



A majorly discussed issue that has been spredding worldwide is the ecenomic crisis. Unnemployement is becoming a bigger and bigger problem all around the world. This leads to less consumers for products because of lack of money and therefor this causes less money for the buyer and so on. It is a very serious problem and with the increase of this problem or spread, there is the increase of poverty as well.


A progressive thinker would go beyong what people say about solutions to economic crisis and find a solution that required higher thinkingmight be to encourage people to have more bussinesses becaue it will help people leave unemployement.

Imperialism? Pro or anti

By the late 1800 America, the industrial revolution had changed America
completely and everyone’s daily lives were majorly altered. Because of the
extraordinary economical increase, America became imperialistic in order to
seek control and power over less industrialized nations.



There are many things that cause imperialism, however there were four
important factors that lead to imperialism in the late 1800’s.
These are: economic factors, nationalistic factors, military factors
and humanitarian factors. Economic factors are when there was a great
increase of factories all around Europe and these factories needed some
materials or resources from smaller or lesss strong nations therefore the
developed and strong nations seeked to gain control over them to get the
resources. Nationalistic factors also lead to imperialism because
nationalism is an extreme patriotism were the people of the nation believe
that they are superior to others and only believe in their ideas and beliefs.
Nationalism leads to nations thinking that they are the only ones that are
important and all the other nations are worthless, therefore they try to
gain control over them. Military factors caused imperialism because the
military forces in Europe were a lot more powerful than those in Africa
and Asia however strong navies needed bases and resources from smaller
nations all around the world. The final factor that caused imperialism is
humanitarian factor, in developed and strong nations people wanted to
spred their culture and health system in other smaller nations and this
lead to imperialism.



There are many examples of imperialism the first one being how the state sent
50,000 troups to mexico in order to threaten france because they had put an emporor
in mexico. Another example is when William Seward decided to buy Alaska from
Russia to gain control over more land. The Americans did not understand why
Seward chose Alaska, but later, they found out that Alaska had la lot of very useful
resources that America needed. A third and very important example is when Cuba
asked for America’s help when they were in rebellion with spain because the
president Mckinley didn’t accept to give cuba independence. This started the Spanish-
american war which lead to numerous battles, but finally came to an end after the
navy of America sank many Spanish ships. After that came a treaty that allowed Cuba
to have it’s independence and for 20 million dollars, Spain gave the united states:
Puerto rico, guam and the Philippines. This expanded united states land and the u.s
gained control over the philipines, guam and Puerto rico.



Imperialism had both positive and negative effects. It helped increase the
economy. However it had several negative effects, imperialism caused war. Another
negative effect is that there were many people for and against imperialism and this
lead to the creation of two opposite groups against each other: the pro imperialism
and the against imperialism. There also was a lot of exploitation and many people saw
imperialism differently and so not everyone accepted change.



There were lots of people who were for imperialism and many who were against. Both sides had very specific and logical
arguments. People who were for imperialism said that it would benefit the
economy greatly since it increased productivity and increased the economy. People who were against were anti-imperialists
and believed that it was not constitutional to expand into other countries and nations.




Personally i am anti imperialism. Yes imperialism is supposed to help a nation become better but some
people do not see it as help and some people do not accept it. Also sometimes it is for their own benefit. I think that every
nation should deal with their nation and not interfere with others.

Glovalization is when all nations around the globe attach to each other and become more united technologically, economically and also socially

Positive:
some positive effects of globalization are:
- there is a worldwide trade market and people from all over the world can have products from different places

- prices are lower

-it has creater more communication between countries

-caused a growth in trade

-because of competition businesses upgrade products

-connection between countriesallows people to see different government systems and maybe even cause a change in an unfair government.

negative effects

- opportunities in wealth countries makes many people move to rich countries and then there is no more opportunities in the poorer countries

-causes an easier spread of disease

-it has caused a lot of unemployment

-80% of the resources in the world are used by only 20% of the population

Our shops were designed especially for women. It has pink fur all around the shops as well as pink fur wall paper. The shop will be round. Agreable music and embelishing lights sill lightem up the atmosphere and animate the environment. All products will be tested and very well designed with our logo on the front. All in all the shops will accomodate everything a women loves. OUr products will include Lipstick, lipgloss, blush, eyeliner, mascara, perfume...
Our beautiful shops feminim shops will be located in places easily accessed by our clientèle. We are aiming it to be rich classy women. Therefore our shops willl be in Ny, 5th avenue, LA, Rodeo Drive, Paris, Champs élyseé,Milan, Via Montenapoleane and Tokyo, Omotesando. These are laces where other luxurious shops can ba found, so they are frequently visited by out aimed clientèle.


Our factories will be located in Mexico a,d Morocco because of their high quality work and very cheap labor. we will have one factory in each country because it is enough for only 5 shops. We will take our resources needed from around the world and ship them to our factories. This will be expensive but it is a neccesary expense because we need the best resources, if we want the best quality products. Plus we will charge a lot for products.
Our sources od energy to run our companies. we choose as our primary source of energy hydropower. This is because it isn't expensive and it is a renewable source of energy. Furthermore, rivers are easily found in Morocco and there are a lot of rivers in Mexico. As our secondary source we choose windmills. However, only in Morocco because it is very windy in some places and they are very cheap. Finally these two sources are abundant and cheap in the countries where are resources are located.
The raw materials we will use are oil, alcohol and pigment for lipstick. Mascara is made with water and thickeners mixed with wax and pigments. for perfume we will need alcohol and sented flowers. For liquid foundation we need oil and pigments. All these resources will be shipped from around the world to our factories.

People who will manufacture our raw materials will be phillipines, because they aremany in Morocco and Mexico and they are very serious workers. They will work 6hrs a day so that they can get a lot of work done but they are not too tired at the end of the day. They will earn 15 dollars a day which is sufficient for them and considered a good salary for a factory worker. They will be given medical insurance and 7 allowed sick days. Women will be given 3 week maternity leave. All in all, workers will be treated well and they will work hard to earn a living.






We will get a hygeine permit and follow the food and drug act. We will label all the ingredients on all our products . We will definetly stick to the rules and be ready for any sanitary inspection. We will also have a money in case of a lawsuit. Which will hopefully never be used.

We will make profit because our clientèle will be wealthy classy women. Our prices will be high but worth it because our quality will be excellent. Women are also very picky about what goes on their faces, so it is sure they will pay the high price. ( they do pay millions for plastic surgery!) Plus we will publisize it and make it very galmorous. Our spokesmodel will be Miranda Kerr and Tyler Shields will be our photographer.

I will use the rest of the money to help all the cities in the world that need help, for example i will start by helping cities in morocco that have been overcome by floods or cities that have been devastated by earthquakes.
